1. No accounts, no tracking
There is no sign-up, no login, and no analytics beacon watching you play. We don't set tracking cookies, we don't fingerprint your device, and we don't sell anything — there is nothing to sell. The game runs entirely in your browser.
2. How online multiplayer works
Online modes (PVP and Rondo) are peer-to-peer over WebRTC. That means:
- Your game data goes directly to the other player(s), not through our servers. Passes, positions, scores and emoji reactions travel browser-to-browser.
- A matchmaking helper (PeerJS's public cloud service) briefly helps the browsers find each other, the same way a phone book helps you dial. It sees connection metadata (IP addresses, temporary peer IDs) needed to establish the call, under its own privacy policy.
- Quick Match handles like "SwiftFox" are generated from the lobby seat — they're not tied to you and change between sessions.
- Rondo room codes are random 4-letter codes that exist only while the room is open.
3. What stays on your device
- Preferences such as mute settings and match options are stored in your browser's local storage, on your device only.
- Nothing is uploaded. We have no database of players, no leaderboards stored server-side, and no way to identify you across visits.
4. Contacting us
If you email us, we receive whatever you put in the email — your address and your message. We use it only to reply, and we don't add you to any list (there is no list).
5. Children
Guess & Pass is a simple football game suitable for all ages. Because there are no accounts, chats, or data collection, there is no personal information for a child to hand over in the first place. Multiplayer opponents see only a generated handle and gameplay data during the match.
6. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date. The short version of our philosophy won't change: collect nothing, store nothing, share nothing.
